  1. Join the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Learning new skills is one of the keys to staying sharp.This Institute at the University of Washington offers non-credit courses in a variety of subject areas to those 50 years and older. Programs are currently being offered in person or via Zoom. The best part? They encourage learning for the joy of it so there are never any assignments, tests or grades. Join today!
  2. Take courses online. Online learning for older adults is one of the easiest and most convenient options. Many websites such as Udemy, Skillshare, Coursera and Wondrium (formerly The Great Courses) offer lifetime access to a number of affordable courses. If you can think of it, then there’s most likely a course on it. From the comfort of your home, you can learn a new skill or improve on what you already know.
  3. Learn at The Tulsa Library. The Tulsa Library has an online learning center that you can access once you have a library card. Gain access to Mango Languages to learn a new language through their interactive classes. There are more than 71languages to choose from. You can also browse the other platforms for a number of online classes including art lessons, photography, music and professional no-credit courses. If interested, sign up for your card online. You’d gain instant access with a temporary library card number until your card is sent in the mail.
