A residence and the wonderful Montereau lifestyle may be more affordable than you realize. Entrance fees for apartment homes start at $227,000. Spacious garden homes with two-car garage start at $418,000. The cost of living at Montereau is made up of a one-time entrance fee that is up to 90% refundable to you or your estate, regardless of how long you live here, and a monthly fee. The entrance fee and monthly fee depend on the floor plan you choose, the number of occupants in your residence and which of our five contract options plans you select. Explore our financial calculator to learn more.

Your entrance fee is a one-time payment based on the size of the residence you choose, the number of occupants and your preferred contract option. Payment of this fee entitles you to lifetime residence at Montereau and access to all levels of care.

Life Care is a type of contract to move into Montereau. This contract typically involves an entrance fee and a monthly rate, but it also secures your future by offering a guaranteed admittance to our health care neighborhoods should your needs ever change. When you join our health care neighborhoods with Life Care, you have a fixed, predictable monthly rate that is typically below the market rate for direct admission.

If you have long-term care insurance policy, you might be eligible to receive benefits if you need assisted living, memory care or skilled nursing. Your policy may work seamlessly with Montereau and pay earned benefits directly to you. You should consult your insurance carrier for specific details about your policy.

Moving here is easy! The first step is a campus visit where you can experience Montereau, meet some of our friendly team members and talk with residents. When you are ready to join us, you will meet with a retirement counselor to discuss your plans and options, and then you will select an apartment or garden home. From there, the next steps are to sign a Reservation and Deposit agreement and make a deposit. The applications are contingent on financial review, medical record review and a cognitive/functional assessment. Once accepted, you begin the move-in process to get started on a wonderful retirement!
