Rehabilitation

If you had that bike fall, needed surgery or suffered a serious illness, you may require rehabilitation services. At Montereau, we have everything you need right on our campus! Our team includes licensed therapists who provide:

• Physical therapy. Movement can be healing. Our therapists use exercises and activities, plus gait training, pain management and balance and coordination improvement to assist in the recovery of fractures, trauma, back injury, stroke and other debilitating conditions.
• Speech therapy. Offering specialized help for those having difficulty thinking, listening, speaking or swallowing, our speech therapists are the people to see if you’ve been affected by a stroke, head injury, ALS, multiple sclerosis or dementia.
• Occupational therapy. With occupational therapy, you get the practical assistance you need to carry on with everyday life. 

Home care

Montereau’s Home Care covers a broad spectrum of services that bring compassionate care to your doorstep. Whether you’ve suffered an injury and need someone to walk your dog, your vision is affected and you’d like someone to read to you, or you need assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing, our team can help. We also check vital signs, go shopping for you, help with medication management, offer valet services and companionship. You never need to feel isolated at Montereau!

Assisted Living

For residents who can live independently, our services focus on lightening the load of everyday chores. We take care of maintenance, housekeeping, meals, transportation and light personal assistance needs. Memory care

Many seniors today are affected by dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease. If you or a loved one has noticed a change in your behavior or memory, talk to your primary care physician. Our assisted living Abbey memory care neighborhood might provide just what you need.

Our highly trained and certified team members employ specialized and individualized therapeutic programming to respectfully foster more positive daily experiences. In fact, every Health Center staff member at Montereau is trained in four hours of CARES ® Dementia Basics. Our Abbey neighborhood has added measures of safety and security, along with physical, occupational, speech and music therapy, an indoor/outdoor sensory garden and private courtyard.

Skilled nursing

One of the most important features of a continuing care community is the ability to get the level of care you need when you need it.
