Resident engagement survey results in recent years, coupled with feedback from resident committees, have generated traction around the idea of implementing a centralized communication system for residents that also streamlines day-to-day operations for staff who provide resident services. After researching several options over the past year, we have chosen to partner with the company Caremerge to launch a new Montereau Resident App that will meet this need! The app offers a centralized way to stay connected with each other and all that Montereau has to offer, and we love that it will grow with our community over time! This new system launched on July 1, and it provides residents and staff, alike, with lasting and far-reaching benefits.
What is the Montereau Resident App?
A single, centralized online platform that will easily allow residents to communicate, interact and socialize with staff and fellow residents. This app can be accessed from a computer, tablet – like an iPad – and/or a hand-held device, like your phone.
What are the benefits of using the Montereau Resident App?
The Montereau Resident App provides the most up-to-date information at everyone’s fingertips. The sidebar navigation feature makes it easy to find everything you need in one place, including dining menus, event information, and announcements. Residents can utilize this app to view and RSVP for community events instantly – and you can cancel reservations, too! Residents can also place restaurant reservations with the click of a button and submit work orders for housekeeping and maintenance services.
What other interesting features are offered?
The Montereau Resident App is HIPAA-compliant and features settings that allow users to control of what they share through the app and who they share it with – including family members!
Residents can also plan their own events and connect with Montereau neighbors through the app! An interactive resident directory allows you to search for others in our community who have common interests and reach out to them! For example, you can organize and invite people in your hall to a Happy Hour or find others who like golf and set up a time to play! There are so many ways to make connections through the Montereau Resident App!
How will you learn to use the Montereau Resident App?
A series of Tech Talks have been scheduled. At these events, you will follow along on your own device to download the app and learn how to navigate its most important features. You’ll also learn how to update your personal profile and make event and restaurant reservations.
